Sherpas is a hire service based at festivals, providing electric carts (e-carts), Sherpas and camping gear to make your festival experience easier and more comfortable.
Our Sherpas are available to help unload/load your car, pull your trolly (or an E-Cart if you’ve hired one), unload/load at your camping pitch. They can even assist with putting up your tent too if you need it!
The festivals we attend are listed on our homepage and will be constantly updated as new festivals come onboard.
To manage our stock and avoid disappointment, pre-booking is strongly advised, although some E-Carts and camping gear may be available on the day.
E-Carts are an amazing update to the standard camping trolley. It’s the only electric festival trolley to leverage Brushless motor wheel technology (used for scooters!), delivering a mammoth 2 hour run time and a top speed of 8kph that allows for a comfortable jog! It is perfect for transporting all of your heavy Camping gear from car to Campsite. You can see them in action on our homepage.
E-Carts are available for moving your gear at the beginning and end of each festival, book as long or short a time as you think you will need, or enjoy the freedom of having it the whole weekend.
The maximum load is 70kg
No, the carts are designed for transporting goods only. We are not insured to carry people and cannot accept any liability should an incident occur. We are currently working on a version to safely carry children, so watch this space!
The battery supplied should last the length of a festival, however replacement batteries will be available to swap over at no extra cost should you run out of oomph!
Yes you can! Click on the link on the Homepage. You can choose to have it shipped to your address or you can collect it from us at the Festival.
In your tent or out of sight. If you leave it unattended at any time it may be stolen. Please remove the battery when not in use, to help prevent the temptation of theft.
Report it to us immediately. We will do our best to find it at the end of the festival, and will refund your deposit if it is found. Unfortunately, if it is not found the deposit goes toward the cost of replacing the e-cart.

Yes, each hire will require a deposit. We take a holding payment from a credit or debit card when you collect your hire, and it is released when you return the items to us at the end of use.

For weekend E-cart and Camping gear hire, you will be asked to select an estimated arrival time at the time of booking, we’ll ensure everything is ready for you. For E-cart and Sherpa short hires, we request an arrival time on the Hire page when booking. However, we’re at a festival, so no stress. If you miss your allocated time, we’ll just all try and work together, there just might be a longer wait time if your Cart or Sherpa has been allocated to a different job.

Yes, please bring your booking confirmation e-mail with you. We will also need a credit or debit card to take holding payments for the deposits.
